We are opening this ministry up to Individuals or families who would be willing to occasionally be hosts or hostesses.

It’s simply making coffee, lemonade, bringing homemade or store bought items, and cleaning up afterwards.

Church Picnic Held at Versailles UMC

ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIPWelcome to church today, everyone! Look around—if you are carrying heavy worries or stress this morning, let’s hand them over to God in prayer.

And if you are just happy to be outside, eating good food, and seeing friends, let's sing out with joy!

God calls us to look out for one another, from our youngest children to wisest elders.

When we pray for each other, God’s power moves in big ways.

So let’s stay alert, support our church family, and ask God for the boldness to share His love with everyone we meet.

May God fill our picnic, our conversations, and our hearts with His peace, love, and grace. Let’s worship together!

OPENING HYMN:”

What a Friend We Have in Jesus” #526 UMH

OPENING PRAYER

Lord God, thank You for this beautiful day and for the gift of our church family. We love that we can gather just as we are  to praise You. We are all one body in Jesus. If anyone here is hurting today, heal them. If anyone is rejoicing, let us celebrate with them. Help us to stay alert to each other's needs today and every day. Give us the courage to speak about Your good news boldly, right where we live, work, and play. Bless our time together, our worship, and the food we will share. In Jesus' name, Amen.
