Wondering How You Can Help the People of Ukraine?
United Methodists and others wishing to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people in the wake of the Russian invasion of their country may contribute to Advance #982450, UMCOR International Disaster Response and Recovery. This fund will provide direct assistance to those in Ukraine as well as assistance to Ukrainians fleeing to neighboring countries.
Gifts to support the people of Ukraine can be made in the following ways:
By toll free telephone: 888-252-6174
By check with “Advance #982450-Ukraine” written on the memo line, either mailed and addressed to Global Ministries/UMCOR, GPO, P.O. Box 9068, New York, NY, 10087-9068 or given at or through any United Methodist church
One hundred percent of all Advance contributions go to the designated cause.
The United Methodist community in Ukraine, though quite small, is actively engaged in assisting neighbors in need. Global Ministries is in touch with the Church’s leadership as well as with church leaders in countries welcoming those who are fleeing from violence in Ukraine.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
CALL TO WORSHIP
We shall see a new heaven and earth, for the old will pass away. We shall see a new Jerusalem, the holy city descending from heaven. The city shall need no sun or moon, for God’s glory will be its light, for God’s Lamb will be it’s lamp, and by its light the nations shall walk. We shall hear a loud voice from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mortals. Indeed, God will dwell with them and they will be God’s people.”
God shall wipe away all our tears, and there shall be no more death. Mourning, crying, and pain shall cease, for all former things will pass away. We shall hear One speak from the throne: “Behold, I make all things new. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.”
Our Lord testifies to these things: “Behold, I am coming soon.”
The grace of the Lord is with us.
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! Come!
OPENING HYMN: “All Creatures of Our God and King” #62 UMH
OPENING PRAYER Lord Jesus Christ, you are the way of peace. come into the brokenness of our lives and our land and with our healing love. Help us to be willing to bow before you in true repentance, and to bow to one another in real forgiveness. By the fire of your Holy Spirit, melt our hearts and consume the pride and prejudice which separates us. Fill us, O Lord, with your perfect love, which casts out our fear, and bind us together in that unity which you share with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen

GREAT THANKSGIVING
The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.
...And so, with your people on earth and all the company of heaven
we praise your name and join their unending hymn:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
...And so, in remembrance of these your mighty acts in Jesus Christ,
we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving
as a holy and living sacrifice, in union with Christ's offering for us,
as we proclaim the mystery of faith.
Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again.
...Through your Son Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit in your holy Church,
all honor and glory is yours, almighty Father (God ), now and for ever. Amen.
