Call to Worship

The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot

I have set the Lord always before me;

The Lord is at my right hand; I shall not be moved

Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices;

My body also dwells secure

You show me the path of life;

in your presence there is fullness of joy,

In your right hand are pleasures for evermore

HYMN “Because He Lives” #364 UMH

Opening Prayer

O God, our bread, our milk and our honey:

In the resurrection of your Son you have brought us to your table. Feed us with your plenty, and enlarge our table for all the hungry; through Christ our Lord. Amen. Alleluia

HYMN “Give Thanks” #2036 TFWS

Please send a heart on this video to show your brothers and sisters in Christ we are thinking of them.

Everlasting God:

You have revealed yourself as father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

and ever live and reign in the perfect unity of love.

Grant that we may always hold firmly and joyfully to this faith,

and, living in praise of your divine majesty,

and may finally be one in you;

who are three persons in one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

SPECIAL MUSIC “ We are Called” Sung by Ayden Link,

Accompanied by Deacon Vivian Waltz, Piano

Let us pray for the Church and for the World.

Grant, Almighty God,

that all who confess your name shall be united in your truth,

live together in your love, and reveal your glory in the world.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

Guide the people of this land, and of all the nations,

In the ways of justice and peace;

That we may honor one another and serve the common good.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

Give us all a reverence of the earth as your own creation,

that we may use its resources rightly

in the service of others and to your honor and glory

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

Bless all whose lives are closely linked with ours,

And grant that we may serve Christ in them,

And love one another as Christ loves us.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

Comfort and heal all those who suffer in body, mind, or spirit;

Give them courage and hope in their troubles,

And bring them the joy of your salvation.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

We commend to your mercy all who have died,

That your will for them may be fulfilled;

And we pray that we may share with all your saints

In your eternal kingdom.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Silent Prayer

We offer these prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
