ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIP

Praise the Lord.

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,

in the company of the upright, in the congregation.

Great are the works of the Lord,

studied by all who have pleasure in them.

The Lord provides food for the faithful

and is ever mindful of his covenant.The Lord has shown his people the power of his works by giving them the heritage of the nations.The works of the lords hands are faithful and just;

the preceppts of the Lord are trustworthy;they are established for ever and ever,

to be formed with faithfulness and uprightness.

The Lord sent redemption to his people; and has commanded his covenant for ever.

Holy and wondrous is God’s name!

God, like a bakerwoman, you bring the leaven which causes our hopes to rise.

With your strong and gentle hands, shape our lives.

We pray, trusting your name, through Jesus our Christ. Amen

ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIP

Almighty God: from the ends of the earth

you have gathered us around Christ’s holy table.

We come to feast together

Have mercy on your church, troubled and divided.

Renew us and make us one. Amen.

OPENING MUSIC: “Come Sinners to the Gospel Feast” #616 UMH

OPENING PRAYER:

Lord,  make me an instrument of thy peace;

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;

to be understood, as to understand;

to be loved, as to love,

for it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
